On Friday August 7th - during Cricket week, we are holding a very special day to celebrate the life of Billie Hockley who lived her entire 100 years in Blackheath. This will be a bi-annual family event, this year with a Barn Dance at the wonderful setting of our Cricket Club - a club that was close to Billie's heart. This is very much a family fun event for Villagers, family, guests & friends and please bring your children - no previous experience is necessary to enjoy the dancing and occasion. BBQ pork, salads and veggie options will be served at 7pm - the dancing will start around 8pm and, of course, the bar will be open all night!
